If you accidentally created a new account on the PC version, you’ll need to reset the authentication history in order to link those login credentials to your original account.

Please note: Simply deactivating the newly created account will not reset the authentication history.

Steps:

  1. Update the app to the latest version.
  2. Deactivate the accidentally created account.
  3. Log in again using the credentials from the deactivated account.
  4. When the screen says "This UZU account has already been deactivated," tap the button labeled "Reset authentication info" and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: Accounts that have already been verified with a phone number cannot have their authentication info reset.

After resetting your authentication info, you can log in to your existing account on the PC version by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to the UZU app on your smartphone.
  2. In the side menu, go to Account Settings and link your Google account to your existing UZU account.
  3. On the PC version of UZU, log in using the Google account you just linked.
